Pre-School / Pre-K Excel-lence
Your child aged three to five years will be:
- taught by four year degreed, state certified teachers.
- actively involved in a weekly, theme based , hands-on curriculum.
- in a classroom with both a teacher and teaching assistant, allowing for a more individualized learning program.
- involved in explorations of language and phonics skills, math, science and the arts.
- surrounded by state-of-the-art, computer based learning programs in both his/her classroom, and visits to our computer lab.
- expanding his/her horizons with weekly visits to our on-site library, and art rooms, staffed by our "specials" faculty.
- experiencing small and large motor development in both our indoor and outdoor recreational areas.
- having his/her progress monitored throughout the year, and discussed at Parent-Teacher Conferences.
- eligible to participate in all our "Excel-lent Extras"
- enjoying on and off-site special programs and trips
- attending Excel's "Senior" Prom, as they graduate from pre-school or Excel Kindergarten
- setting the pattern for all future learning experiences
