Since 1983, Excel Learning Center has been teaching and caring for children six weeks old through kindergarten.  We also provide care for before and after school-age children, (6-13 years old; kindergarten – 8th grade).  In addition to our regular program, extracurricular lessons such as karate, dance, cheerleading and musical instruments are offered as well. Our experienced, devoted and professional staff work together to make our environment warm, nurturing and stimulating.  Excel sits right in the heart of Marlton on beautiful Main Street and is open year round from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.  Our facility is cheerful and bright, and the classrooms are generous in their size.  Apart from the certified classroom teachers, we have a full-time “specials” staff.  We have Art, Music, Computer and Creative Movement instructors as well as an in-house Librarian. The classroom teacher, left with a smaller class, can focus on academics in a more one-on-one setting. Cooking class is taught in the classroom as a whole class.  To keep you informed throughout the year, there are parent teacher conferences, progress reports and weekly lesson plans which give detailed explanations to our age-appropriate curriculum, as well as monthly newsletters.  In addition to classroom activities, students of all ages participate in class field trips and special events throughout the year, including fun and educational visits from firefighters, dentists, and other community volunteers.  We really enjoy our super fun field trips to the local farms for apple, pumpkin, and strawberry picking.
